Educational Qualifications
- Junior Assistant – Passed the Senior Secondary Examination from a recognized board/university recognized by the Central / State Government / UT Administration / Education Authority. Expertise in the use of computers and basic software packages such as Windows / Network operating system / LAN architecture. The NBE may prescribe to qualify NBE Recruitment 2021.
- Senior Assistant – Degree from a recognized university/board. The NBE may prescribe to qualify.
- Junior Accountant – Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Statistics or a degree in Commerce from a recognized university. Qualifying for the exam as prescribed by NBE.
Age Limit
Must 18 to 27 years (age relaxation as government norms for reserved category candidates)

Selection will be based on:
Stage-I – Stage-I exam should be a Computer Based Test (CBT) with 200 questions. There will be 200 questions with a maximum of 200 marks. The objective type test duration is 180 minutes (5 hours on three pages). Each wrong answer in CBT will have a negative marking of 0.25. The minimum qualifying marks are 40% for SC / ST and 50% for others.
Stage-II– Stage-2 (Computer Knowledge / Skill Test) 100 marks and time duration should be 75 minutes. Candidates will be provided with a text in English of approximately 500 words which will need to be reproduced in the same format on the computer within 15 minutes to confirm the candidate’s performance on the computer.

The final merit list for the posts should be prepared based on the total marks obtained by the candidates in CBT (Stage-1) and Computer Knowledge / Skill Test (Stage-2), which will determine their location. If two or more candidates achieve equal marks, the aged candidate will be placed on top. The merit list/selection list is good for a period of one year or before the next election.

How do I become a NBE examiner?
The person appointed as the Examiner should have obtained the required post-graduate degree qualification in this subject at least five years in advance as per the recommendations of the Medical Council on Teacher Qualification. Undergraduate for at least five years.
